Week 45 of Global Entrepreneurship Program:
Purdue University Semester.
Almost Done with GEP:
Only two weeks left until the end of this program! I don’t know if I’m more happy or more sad that my Master’s in Global Entrepreneurship Program is going to end so soon. I’m definitely going to be sad that this incredible lifestyle is going to come to an end. No more traveling every weekend with international friends and no more student life. At the same time, I am ecstatic to be launching my new startup this fall. There’s still so much work left to do before the end of the month so I’m definitely stressed out, but this weekend, I was able to get away from all of that.
This week’s classes were the same old. At this point in the program, I am just zoned out in the back of the room just typing away on my market research and business plan for my final presentation on the 31st. I get really anxious thinking about presenting in front of the investors, not because I’m scared to present in front of them, but because I haven’t done enough to peak their interests. I’ve been doing my best to complete as much work as possible for this day, but I don’t know if it’s enough…
Weekend in Chicago:
This weekend was definitely a nice getaway trip to Chicago. GEP organized a trip for us to visit Chicago. I’ve never been here before so I was pretty excited and in one word, it was AMAZING. Our assistant director booked us a hotel in the middle of downtown Chicago at the Radisson Blu. I think that was one of the best hotels I’ve been this year. It had one of the best views of the city, even overlooking to Lake Michigan and the facility was just fantastic. The city itself was incredible. I always imagined Chicago to be like any other large city, but I was blown away on how beautiful it was. It had a great combination of NYC’s hustle and bustle metropolitan feel with Amsterdam’s river city feel.
Here’s some highlights:
That’s it for now. I wish I can spend more time to elaborate on my writing, but it’s just been insanely busy these past couple of weeks. I really hope that I can start updating more frequently starting in August.
xoxo from Chicago,
